MTPE services

– Machine translation post-editing combines machine translation speed with qualified human post-editing:

a human translator reviews, corrects and refines the machine-translated output to ensure accuracy, quality and cultural relevance.

– Light MTPE: faster and more cost-effective than full MTPE, light MTPE focuses on making the translated text understandable, ensuring that the translation does not contain any major errors that affect comprehension. Stylistic and terminological consistency is not guaranteed. Suitable for low-risk internal documents.

– Full MTPE ensures the translation is accurate, stylistically consistent, and fully adapted to the target audience. The final text aims for quality comparable to human translation: it reads naturally in the target language and preserves the tone of the source text. Ideal for high volume repetitive content, such as customer-facing material and legal, technical and financial documents.

PLEASE NOTE:

– All documents issued outside of the EU must be apostilled (or notarised, if the foreign country is not part of the Hague Convention) before translation.

– Sworn translations must be apostilled/notarised for use outside of Italy (service available upon request).

– Certified translation cannot be apostilled/notarised in Italy.
